Assistant Manager – Procurement
A short introduction
The selected candidate will lead strategic sourcing of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and Indirect Procurement while leading procurement compliance and contracting activities. The position is responsible for driving cost optimisation through negotiations, supplier development, and material substitution, ensuring supply continuity and optimal inventory levels. The role involves close collaboration with cross‐functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs, manage supplier performance, maintain compliance standards, oversee MRP and ERP processes, and implement effective compliance policies, audits, and training initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, Transport and Logistics, or related field; MSc or MBA is an added advantage.
- 4–5 years’ procurement experience in FMCG or similar industries.
- Skilled in structured sourcing, supplier management, and category handling.
- Strong analytical, decision‐making, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self‐driven team player with ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of forecasting, market trends, buying strategies, and inventory planning
- Experience delivering sourcing value through cross‐functional projects
